I think the dynamics of each relationship need to be examined by both parties involved before a decision either way should be made. Some couples probably don't have an issue with it, and some probably do. It's something that doesn't have a cut and dry 'yes' or 'no' answer.

Let's be honest here. You are a very attractive girl...and not just because of your profession. You're simply stunning. Do you have a hard time in your every day, non porn star life being left alone by men?
I go out of my way to try to *not* get attention from people in day to day life. It only works about half the time. The other half...I just do my semi-awkward 'thank you' and go on with my day. If they persist I sometimes end up having to tell them to fuck off, but that's not very often.

I understand that it could be hard for certain guys, or people in general. However, there are people that understand that I am far more than just an adult film star, and appreciate the fact that I have varied interests, goals, and personal beliefs outside the adult industry.
I don't wear a sign when I go out that says 'Hi, I'm in the adult industry, cool, huh?', so there are a lot of people that meet the 'real' me and hang out/form an opinion on me as a person long before what I do as a job becomes a topic of discussion. In most situations like that, the only thing people say is 'Oh, you don't act like a porn star/stripper/naked chick', and we go on doing whatever it is we were doing. They don't play 20 questions, or start treating me differently, they just continue treating me the same way they always have.
Those are the people I let into my personal life.
